What you will achieve in B2:

- extended subordinate clause structures (although, by, as soon as)
- Passive forms in different tenses
- Subjunctive I and II for indirect speech and hypotheses
- Participial constructions (Living in Zurich,…)

Length of time
The complete B2 course consists of 4 modules of 40 hours each
→ a total of 160 hours of practical learning.
By registering, you are booking the first module. With Alemania, you always remain flexible: You can cancel your registration for the next module in writing up to 7 calendar days before the end of the current module. If no cancellation is received 7 calendar days before the end of the module, the course will automatically renew until all modules of a level have been completed.

Reading and Listening
- I can understand longer speeches and lectures and follow complex arguments if I am reasonably familiar with the subject.
- I can understand most news programmes and current affairs reports on television.
- I can understand most feature films when standard language is spoken.
- I can read and understand articles and reports on contemporary problems in which the writers express a particular attitude or point of view.

Speaking
- I can communicate so spontaneously and fluently that a normal conversation with a native speaker is quite possible.
- I can participate actively in a discussion in familiar situations and justify and defend my views.
- I can give a clear and detailed account of many topics in my areas of interest.

Writing
- I can write clearly and in detail on a variety of topics of interest to me.

Which goals are to be achieved in the German course B2
The aim of this course is to enable you to understand and reproduce complex content in books, newspapers or on the Internet. You can now also understand technical discussions in your field of specialisation. Of course, you are now also able to express yourself fluently and spontaneously. This makes it easy to hold conversations with German native speakers. Giving detailed information, expressing your own opinion or talking about current issues is possible without much effort.
