German Courses Level A
German course A1 | Beginners
A 1.1 – A 1.3
Learn German at level A1
- You can introduce yourself and ask people questions about themselves.
- You can understand familiar everyday expressions in German.
- You can understand and answer simple questions.
At this level you will learn to express yourself simply in everyday situations. You will learn to speak and understand simple sentences. The main focus is on introducing yourself and others in simple words. You will also be able to understand many people if they speak slowly and clearly to you.
German Course A2 | Extension
A 2.1 – A 2.3
The German course A2 expands your basic German knowledge
- You understand some basic connections.
- You can have an initial exchange of information about common topics.
- You can communicate in simple, familiar situations with short sentences.
After the German course A2 you will be able to understand and use sentences and expressions often used in everyday life. In many everyday situations you will already be able to express yourself simply but well. Simple information can now be described and understood without major problems.

Deutschkurs B1 | Advanced
B 1.1 – B 1.3
Listening, speaking and writing at level B1
- You can understand the main points in a sentence if clear, standard language is used.Du kannst die Hauptpunkte in einem Satz verstehen, wenn eine klare Standardsprache verwendet wird.
- You can describe travels, dreams, and goals.
- You can deal with everyday language situations.
People who have a clear way of expressing themselves are now your favourite conversation partners, because you will notice how well you understand them linguistically. Most situations in everyday life and also travelling are now no longer an insurmountable hurdle, but rather an occasion to be able to communicate in many familiar situations.
Deutschkurs B2 | Diploma course
B 2.1 – B 2.4
Your next step to becoming a German language professional
- You understand the main content of complete texts on concrete and abstract topics.
- You can have normal conversations with native speakers without much effort.
- You can explain the advantages and disadvantages of different options.
Complex topics and contexts as well as texts can now be understood without problems. You are now ready to speak spontaneously and fluently. At this level you will also be able to converse easily with native speakers. Clear pronunciation and complex sentences are no longer a problem for you.

German Courses Level C | Diploma course
C 1.1 – C 1.4
Perfect your German to level C1
- A wide range of long texts is understood, and the language is used effectively and flexibly.
- Listening, speaking, reading, and writing are practiced intensively.
- Grammar and vocabulary are reinforced and deepened.
Demanding and long texts can be grasped very well at this level. You can express yourself fluently and spontaneously without having to search for words. You can now use the German language flexibly and express yourself in a structured way both professionally and privately.
German course C2 | Diploma course
C2
Become a native speaker of German at C2 level
- Everything read and heard is easily understood.
- Listening, speaking, reading, and writing are practiced intensively.
- Grammar and vocabulary are perfected.
You can understand every German word and sentence at this level. You are also able to summarise and recapitulate complex topics. A very fluent pronunciation and a vocabulary at native-speaker level are no longer a challenge for you.
